Isikhumbuzo (Annual Celebration and Commemoration).

This celebration commemorates and memorialises one of the important migrations of Amahlubi from the EC to the land of Fuba in the Rusternburg region from 1923 to 1924. The event is set and hosted on the 20th September which is the day of the hero’s and heroines of that era who arrived in what is now known as the village of Khayakhulu. The event see a series of important customary, traditional and cultural events in honour of the founding father and mother of the nation Nkosi Nonkonyana Fuba Zibi (Ah! Dabulamanzi) and Nkosikazi Maud Zibi (Granny) who’s legacy has seen the birth of generation of Royal & Traditional leaders, Agricultural industrialists, academics, professionals, religious leaders in both the family and community. The celebration is annual and held at the heritage site which was named Ebenezer.
